Hunter -- The Challenger of the Trial

Hunted -- The Challenged of the Trial

A Trial of Greivence (ToG) is useful in solving disputes between two warriors when the council cannot resolve them. The two warriors Bid for right of combat. All elements of the combat are bid on except the warrior who has been challenged may opt to choose the terrain of the battle. Bidding and the battle must be conducted in front of another warrior who acts as witness and makes sure everything is as bid. ToG's can also be used as a means of gaining an agreed amount of Honor Points.

We are not Jade Falcons, we do not enter into The Circle of Equals over trivial matters.

Rules Of Bidding

Bidding will be done as follows:
-Bidding can be done so nothing is lost or gained.
-Bidding is between 2 warriors wishing a ToG
-Bidding must have a 3rd warrior as witness
-Witness is also to witness battle but does not participate in battle

-Agree on Mission
-Agree on max mech weight
-Agree on mech type (elementals for hand to hand) (elementals available in Pirates Moon and MW2: Mercenaries)
-Agree on Custom or Standard mechs
-Agree on gravity setting
-Agree on temperature setting
-Agree on trial type(see list below)

Trial Types for ToG:

 

Honor points

Warriors fight for agreed amount of Honour points.
Looser looses agreed amount of Honour Points.
Winner Gains agreed amount of Honour points.
Looser may loose rank if too man Hp's lost.
Winners may qualify for Trial of Position sooner.
 

Deathmatch

Warriors fight until "killed". Loser loses all
Hp's to winner + rank if loser is higher rank.
The victor instantly qualifies for ToP for rank
won. Loser is required to change callsign and
re-enter CSV as a cadet.
Trial rules apply for all levels of command.

There is NO member of the Touman that is exempt from a ToG.  Anyone can challenge Anyone, even the Khan. But there is a reason the Khan is the Khan, you had better be very very good.
