BloodName Trials are conducted at the discretion of the BloodHouse Master, or for BloodHouses lacking a Master, the Keshik.  A member of the Keshik should be present at such a trial to act as Oathmaster/Loremaster.

Example:  BloodHouse Masters is headed by LoreMaster Matrix Masters, the LoreMaster shall make all descisions as to methods of, and limitations that apply for the Honor of becoming a Masters.  Bloodhouse Sinclair has no current Master, The Keshik takes the place of the Master concerning the conditions and limitation of the BloodName Trial.

In the militaristic and tradition bound society of the Clans, a BloodName is one of the greatest honors a warrior can claim. Besides bestowing the skilled warrior with a coveted surname, the award of a BloodName guarantees that the warrior's genetic material will be used in the clan eugenics program. BloodRight may only be earned through trial. A Trial of BloodRight is held when the BloodHouse Master decides they wish welcome another skilled warrior into their BloodHouse. There may be no more than 3 warriors anointed with any one BloodName including the Master. In the absence of a BloodHouse Master, decisions of of the house will me made by the Keshik's will. The Master announces the offerring of his Bloodright to the clan. Those warriors who chose the Master's Bloodright as one of their two inform the Master of their intention to fight for the BloodName(upon entrance into the clan each warrior is to choose two BloodNames, these BloodRights represent the bloodlines from which they were spawned and they are the only BloodRights for which the warrior may compete). A tournament is held and the champion is honored with the BloodRight.
